SEOUL, April 5 (Yonhap) -- TC Global Inc., a U.S. specialty coffee retailer and wholesaler, opened Monday two outlets of Tully's Coffee in Seoul, making its debut in South Korea, the company's local operator said.

DK Retail Co., the South Korean operator, earlier signed a master license agreement with Tully's Coffee International, a Singapore-based office, on opening Tully's Coffee stores here.

Tully's Coffee, one of the three most recognized American coffee chains along with Starbucks Corp. and Seattle's Best Coffee Llc., is known for roasting coffee beans by hand for unique flavor.

DK Retail plans to open three more retail stores within this year and expand franchise stores. Tully's Coffee Japan Co., a subsidiary of Japanese firm Ito En Ltd., runs 400 stores nationwide in Japan.
