GUANGZHOU, China, Nov. 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's Kim Deok-hyeon claimed the men's long jump title on Wednesday, bringing home the second gold medal in track and field at the Guangzhou Asian Games.
The Doha Asiad bronze medalist jumped 8.11 meters in the men's long jump final at the Aoti Main Stadium to capture his first gold medal at the Asian Games, edging out China's Su Xiongfeng, who jumped 8.05m.
The winning distance was also Kim's best mark of the season.
Saudi Arabia's Hussain Alsaba recorded his season's best mark of 7.96m to earn bronze.
South Korea swept the men's and women's long jump titles at Guangzhou, following Jung Soon-ok's gold medal on Tuesday.
