SEOUL (Yonhap) -- The following is a chronological review of major developments related to North Korea from June 27-July 3, 2013.

June

27 The Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of (North) Korea (CPRK) denounces South Korea for releasing the transcript of an inter-Korean summit in 2007.

27 The (North) Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) says Margrethe II, the queen of Denmark, received credentials from Pak Kwang-chol, the DPRK ambassador to her country, on June 21.

27 Kim Yong-nam, the president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA), meets with Gerhard Thiedemann, the German ambassador to the DPRK (North Korea), who paid a farewell visit to him at the Mansudae Assembly Hall in Pyongyang.

27 The KCNA claims the U.S. killed many innocent people "in a brutal way beyond human imagination" during the Korean War (June 25, 1950-July 27, 1953).

27 The KCNA says North Korean artists Paek Song-hyok and Song Kyong-op won the top place in the instrumental music ensemble and first places in bayan and accordion solo at the International Art Concours-Festival "Vacation in Moscow" held in Moscow from June 21 to 23.

27 Rallies of people from the North Phyongan, South Hwanghae and North Hamgyong provinces are held on the occasion of June 25, the day of the struggle against U.S. imperialism.

28 Rodong Sinmun calls for powerfully demonstrating the might of army-people unity, coordinated operation of the army and people, and building the most powerful nation in the 21st century.

28 Mass rallies take place in North Hwanghae and Ryanggang provinces and Nampho City to commemorate the breakout of the Korean War.

28 Kim Yong-nam sends a congratulatory message to Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj upon his re-election as president of Mongolia.

28 The group of service personnel of the (North) Korean People's Army (KPA) marching to the revolutionary sites in front areas holds a joint meeting with Kaesong citizens at Kaesong Square in the city.

28 North Korean leader Kim Jong-un provides field guidance to the February 11 Factory of the Ryongsong Machine Complex in Hamhung, South Hamgyong Province.

29 Kim Yong-nam sends a message of greeting to Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir, the president of Sudan, on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the revolution in Sudan.

29 North Korea warns against a plan of flying anti-Pyongyang leaflets into the North by a group of North Korean defectors and a U.S.-based human rights agency from Imjingak, a South Korean pavilion just south of the border.

29 Rodong Sinmun claims the recent revelation of the transcripts of a 2007 inter-Korean summit "is an act of extreme political gangsterism prompted by an attempt to bring under control the worst ruling crisis and ensure ruling security."

29 Kim Yong-nam sends a message of greeting to Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, who acceded to the throne of the emir of States of Qatar.

29 Premier Pak Pong-ju makes a field survey of various sectors in North Phyongan Province.

29 Kim Jong-un provides field guidance to the Sinhung Machine Factory in Hamhung, South Hamgyong Province.

30 Kim Yong-nam sends a message of greeting to Joseph Kabila Kabange, the president of Democratic Congo, on the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of its independence.

July

1 Kim Jong-un guides an artillery fire of the KPA Unit 851.

1 The spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) accuses South Korean President Park Geun-hye of her "anti-North Korea remarks."

1 Kim Jong-un sends gifts to soldier-builders who are performing heroic feats in the construction of the ski resort on Masik Pass.

1 Kim Yong-nam sends a message of greeting to Hassan Sheikh Mohamed, the president of Somalia, on its national day.

1 The KCNA says a new kind of composite ceramic tool was developed jointly by Kim Chaek University of Technology and the Pyongyang Textile Machine Factory.

1 Pak Pong-ju makes a field survey of the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex.

2 Kim Jong-un visits the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, which is close to completion.

2 Kim Kye-gwan, the first vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and his party leave Pyongyang to visit Russia.

2 A delegation of the International Affairs Department of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of (North) Korea (WPK) led by Vice Department Director Kim Song-nam leaves Pyongyang to visit China.

2 A delegation of the Students Sports Association of the DPRK leaves Pyongyang to take part in the 27th Universiad to be held in Kazan, Russia.

2 The KCNA says talks between the DPRK and Cuban military delegations took place in Havana on June 30.

2 The KCNA says the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba delivered a gift to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un via Kim Kyok-sik, the chief of the General Staff of the KPA, who is leading the DPRK military delegation on a visit to Cuba, on June 30.

3 North Korea says it will allow South Korean businessmen to visit their plants in a joint industrial complex in its border town of Kaesong, which has been suspended since early April when the North withdrew all of its 53,000 workers hired by 123 South Korean plants there.

3 The KCNA says Cuban President Raul Castro had a talk with the visiting DPRK military delegation, led by Kim Kyok-sik, the chief of the General Staff of the KPA, at the building of the Council of State on July 1.

3 Rodong Sinmun editorially calls for dynamically conducting class education under the uplifted banner of the anti-imperialist and anti-U.S. struggle in order to further consolidate the socialist revolutionary position, the class position.
