BEIJING, Sept. 17 (Yonhap) -- South Korean aerobatic jets will perform at an aviation exhibition in China in November for the first time, China's state media reported Wednesday, in another sign of improved ties between the former battlefield foes.

China will hold the 10th Airshow China on Nov. 11-16 in the southern city of Zhuhai, with more than 120 aircraft from 39 nations attending, including its J-10 fighter jets, the state-run Global Times reported, citing the event's organizers.

The South Korean "Black Eagle" aerobatic team and another team from the United Arab Emirates were invited for the first time to perform with their Chinese counterparts during the biennial airshow, the newspaper said, citing Shen Jinke, a spokesman at China's air force.

China will also debut its Y-20 four-engine military cargo aircraft during the show, it said.

China fought alongside North Korea in the 1950-53 Korean War, while the United States and 20 other allied countries fought on the side of South Korea under the U.N. flag.
