SEOUL, May 27 (Yonhap) -- South Korean baseball club KT Wiz on Wednesday released its struggling pitcher Andy Sisco.

The expansion team in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) said it is currently looking for Sisco's replacement.

The 32-year-old left-hander began the season in the rotation before early woes forced him to the bullpen.

Sisco made 17 appearances with a 0-6 record and a 6.23 ERA. He struck out 42 batters in 39 innings.

The KBO teams can have up to three foreign players, with at least one position player, but the Wiz can carry a maximum of four foreign players in its first two seasons.

The Wiz entered Wednesday's action mired in last place at 9-38. They had the worst team ERA at 5.74.
