S. Korea, U.S., Japan seek effective sanctions on N. Korea

TOKYO, Jan. 16 (Yonhap) -- South Korea, the United States and Japan reaffirmed their commitment Saturday to strong and effective sanctions on North Korea for its recent nuclear test.
The regional powers demonstrated their united front against Pyongyang once again in vice ministerial talks in Tokyo.
