S. Korea to sell 7.5 tln won in state bonds in Feb.

SEJONG, Jan. 28 (Yonhap) -- South Korea plans to sell 7.5 trillion won (US$6.2 billion) in state bonds in February, the finance ministry said Thursday.

The government will sell 1.85 trillion won in three-year Treasury notes, 1.85 trillion won in five-year bonds and 1.95 trillion won worth of 10-year bonds in the one-month period, according to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance.

It also plans to issue 800 billion won worth of 20-year bonds and 1.05 trillion won in 30-year bonds.

The ministry said it sold 8.7 trillion won worth of state debt in January, more than 7.2 trillion won originally planned for the month.
