SEOUL, Feb. 29 (Yonhap) -- Jimin of South Korean girl group AOA will release her first solo single featuring EXO's Xiumin this week, star label FNC Entertainment said on Monday.

Dubbed "Call You Bae," the new track will be released on Thursday on local music streaming services. The EP is the first operation of Jimin's solo project "#00TD," FNC said.

"Call You Bae" is a cheerful love song with a fast tempo that depicts the fluttering hearts of youth in love.

The song harmoniously blends Jimin's high-pitched rap and Xiumin's tender voice, the agency said.

South Korean entertainers and singers joined hands to support Jimin's first solo project by, making appearance in her latest teaser movie clip on Youtube.

The teaser, posted by FNC, shows about 10 celebrities -- Korean rock singer Jung Jun-young, comedians Lee Guk-joo, Hong Seok-cheon and Huh Kyung-hwan and television show hosts Kim Gu-ra and Jeon Hyeon-mu -- reading out loud the song's Korean title, "Yahago sipeo," trying to interpret what the title hints at.

The song will not be showcased on television networks, the star label said.
