SEOUL, March 2 (Yonhap) -- Renault Samsung Motors Co., the local unit of French auto firm Renault S.A., said Wednesday that its February car sales dropped 1.7 percent on-year as its relatively strong overseas business was eclipsed by a sharp fall in domestic demand.

Domestic sales plunged 18 percent on-year to 4,263 units, while overseas sales grew 6.4 percent to 11,097 units.
