U.S. human rights envoy to visit S. Korea

WASHINGTON, April 1 (Yonhap) -- The U.S. special envoy for North Korean human rights issues will make a visit to Seoul starting Saturday for discussions on a range of issues related to the communist nation, the State Department said.

During the five-day trip, Amb. Robert King will "meet with senior officials to discuss a broad range of issues related to North Korea and to continue our close coordination on North Korean human rights issues," the department said in a release.

King will return to Washington on April 6, it said.
