S. Korea condemns terrorist attack in Israel
SEOUL, June 10 (Yonhap) -- South Korea on Friday condemned a terrorist attack on Tel Aviv, Israel, earlier this week, reiterating that acts of terrorism cannot be justified under any circumstances.
Two gunmen killed at least four people and wounded six others when they shot into a crowd in Tel Aviv on Wednesday night, according to reports.
"Our government would like to extend our condolences to the Israeli government, the innocent victims and their families," Seoul's Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
While expressing concerns over security threats in the region, the ministry also urged the concerned parties to redouble their efforts to begin peace talks and address the long-running Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
