Orioles' Kim Hyun-soo activated from DL
SEOUL, July 27 (Yonhap) -- The Baltimore Orioles' South Korean outfielder Kim Hyun-soo has been activated from the 15-day disabled list (DL).
The Orioles inserted Kim in the starting lineup against the Colorado Rockies at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Tuesday (local time).
He had a minimum stay on the DL after hurting his right hamstring on July 10 while running out a grounder.
Kim was held out of the first four games after the All-Star break, and the Orioles placed him on the DL last Friday, the move being retroactive to July 11.
Kim appeared in two Double-A games during his rehab, going 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs in the second game on Monday.
So far in his rookie season in the majors, Kim is batting .329/.410/.454 with three home runs and 11 RBIs. He has 18 walks against 22 strikeouts in 152 at-bats.
