SEOUL, Aug. 25 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's stock exchange said Thursday it has forged a partnership with Naver Corp., the country's dominant Internet portal, to publicize exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Under their memorandum of understanding, the Korea Exchange will actively provide Naver users with information on the investment vehicle.

The benefits of ETFs, which follow specific benchmark indexes, include lower trade costs, variety of products and liquidity.

Related information will be offered through the Naver Economy M site, http://blog.naver.com/nv_economy.

Naver will serve as a major channel to raise public awareness on ETFs, the bourse said.
