SEOUL, Sept. 9 (Yonhap) -- YG Entertainment, one of the leading star agencies in South Korea, said Friday it, in celebration of their 20th anniversary, will hold a "walking festival" jointly with UNICEF Korea to help malnourished children around the world.

The "YG X UNICEF Walking Festival" will take place at the World Cup Park in western Seoul at 4 p.m. on Oct. 2 under the slogan, "In hope of children and teenagers to grow up healthy."

The event, also co-organized by the Muju YG Foundation, will consist of a 4 kilometer walk around Pyeonghwa Square and Sky Park within the World Cup Park and a concert of the company-managed artists after the walking event.

The entrance fee is 20,000 won (US$18) for each person and the festival is expected to draw around 5,000 participants.

All the profits will be donated to UNICEF Korea, where the money will be used for treatments of malnourished children around the world. Ticket sales will be available from 11 a.m. on Monday on the festival's website (www.YGXUNICEF.com)
