Super Junior's Ryeowook joins Army

SEOUL, Oct. 12 (Yonhap) -- Ryeowook of boy group Super Junior enlisted in the army Tuesday, becoming the 10th member of the idol group to begin his mandatory military service.

The singer gathered fans and reporters for a short talk before entering the 37th armed division boot camp in Jeungpyeong County, North Chungcheong Province.

At the base, he is to receive a five week-long training before his official military duties start.

The scene was graced by a fellow member and the leader of the group, Lee Teuk.
