SEOUL, Dec. 16 (Yonhap) -- Sechs Kies, a first-generation K-pop boy band, plans to hold a concert next month in Seoul, capping a tour which marked its return to music after 15 years.
The "2017 Sechs Kies Final in Seoul" will be held at Jamsil Stadium in southeastern Seoul on Jan. 21-22, its agency YG Entertainment said.

The hit 90's band made a surprise comeback in September, reuniting with some 20,000 fans at the Gymnastics Arena of Olympic Stadium in southeastern Seoul -- a popularity gauge for all K-pop singers. The concert was the group's first since its disbandment 16 years ago.

The upcoming show will mark the finale of their nationwide Yellow Note concert tour which also took them to the southern cities of Daegu and Busan.

Sechs Kies has recently rolled out its first full-length LP "2016 Re-ALBUM" wherein the three lead tracks "Couple," "Chivalry" and "Heartbreak" snagged the top spots at major local music streaming sites. Moreover, the group also rediscovered its international fandom, ranking No. 1 on the iTunes Album Charts in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.

The ticket sales for the iconic band's two-day concert will begin next Thursday at 8 p.m. and can be purchased at http://ticket.auction.co.kr.
