S. Korea, U.S., Japan hold video conference after N.K. missile launch

SEOUL, Feb. 14 (Yonhap) -- Senior defense officials from South Korea, the United States and Japan held a video conference to discuss countermeasures following North Korea's latest missile launch, the defense ministry said Tuesday.

North Korea test-fired its newly developed intermediate-range ballistic missile using a solid propellant on Sunday morning. Seoul said the missile flew some 500 km and splashed into the East Sea.
