SEOUL, March 23 (Yonhap) -- K-pop diva Bada, former lead vocal of the legendary idol group S.E.S., tied the knot Thursday, though will remain busy with TV and music work after returning from her honeymoon.

"I'm so thankful. Like my name Bada, I will be (your) friend and lover who makes you happy and quietly listens to your words," the singer told her husband during a news conference at the Yakhyeon Cathedral in central Seoul. Bada means "sea" in Korean. The press conference was held hours before the wedding.

Bada said she met her businessman husband at a cathedral gathering last year and is reportedly nine years younger than the singer.

When asked about her future career plans, Bada said her work as of now is booked until June.

"I will continue with my emcee duties on the TV show 'Fantastic Duo 2' and plan to hold a 'lead vocal' concert with singer Kim Tae-woo," Bada said, adding that she will prepare to have a baby after her schedule is cleared. Kim is the ex-lead vocal of g.o.d.

Bada is the last among the S.E.S. members to get married. The other two -- Eugene and Shoo -- and have become reality TV stars, having appeared in weekend prime time shows focusing on babysitting.

"It'll be fun chatting together since all three of us have a common subject," Eugene said, adding that she hopes Bada gives birth to a daughter who has her mother's vocal cords.

After its debut in 1997 with the LP "I'm Your Girl," S.E.S. enjoyed huge popularity among K-pop fans until its disbandment in 2002. The trio, considered one of the key first-generation K-pop idol groups, held a two-day comeback concert in late December and released "Remember," the group's first album in 20 years, in January.
