Magnitude 3.0 quake hits southern S. Korea

GWANGJU, May 5 (Yonhap) -- A magnitude 3.0 earthquake struck southern South Korea, officials said Friday.

The temblor occurred at around 11:16 p.m. near Gurye county, about 420 kilometers south of Seoul, according to officials.

There have been no reports of injuries or damage.
