All News 10:11 June 12, 2017

SEOUL, June 12 (Yonhap) -- Yonhap News Agency, the country's key newswire, published a yearbook Monday chronicling last year's key events in politics, economy, society, culture and sports.

The Korea Annual 2017 comes with special coverage of the 19th presidential election held May 9 in the aftermath of former President Park Geun-hye's ouster over a corruption scandal.

The 1,416-page book was written by some 150 reporters. Yonhap will publish its English version soon to better inform readers of the country's main events and issues in a comprehensive manner. It is the only English-language almanac published in the country.
