President appoints new FTC chief despite opposition parties' objection

SEOUL, June 13 (Yonhap) -- President Moon Jae-in on Tuesday appointed the new head of the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) despite opposition parties' objection.
The presidential office Cheong Wa Dae said the president could not waste any more time, citing what it called a serious economic crisis.
