Yonhap publishes 2017 English-language almanac
SEOUL, July 10 (Yonhap) -- Yonhap News Agency, South Korea's main newswire, on Monday published the English-language Korea Annual 2017 that summarizes all major issues and events that defined the country last year.
The yearbook, designed to provide the latest information on Korea to the world, covers a wide range of subjects including politics, North Korea, the economy, business, social issues, culture and sports.
The latest almanac deals with such significant events as the impeachment of President Park Geun-hye, North Korea's nuclear and missile provocations, and the closure of the Kaesong Industrial Complex. It also includes a special edition of the 19th presidential election on May 9, 2017.
