SEOUL, Nov. 3 (Yonhap) -- The South Korean baseball club KT Wiz said Friday they have re-signed American pitcher Ryan Feierabend.

The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) club said Feierabend, 32, will return on a one-year deal worth US$1.05 million, up $370,000 from his 2017 season salary.

Feierabend went 8-10 with a league-best 3.04 ERA in 26 games. He became the first player to win an individual honor with the Wiz since the Suwon-based club entered the KBO in 2015.

"Feierabend is a player who executed the ace role very well," said Im Jong-taek, general manager of the Wiz. "He is continuously improving, and we expect him to have a good season next year."

The left-hander made his KBO debut with the Nexen Heroes in 2015 and joined the Wiz midway through the 2016 season. He ended 2016 at 7-13 with a 4.45 ERA in 31 starts. Before coming to South Korea, he played for the Seattle Mariners and the Texas Rangers in Major League Baseball.

The Wiz were the worst team in the 10-team league last season after collecting 50 wins and 94 losses.
