SEOUL, Dec. 21 (Yonhap) -- KBS 2TV's mystery comedy will return with a second season next year, the network said Thursday.

"Queen of Mystery 2," starring Kwon Sang-woo and Choi Kang-hee, will premiere on Feb. 21. The drama revolves around Yoo Seok-ok, the wife of a prosecutor whose dream had been to become a police officer her entire life, and detective Ha Wan-seung. The two make an unlikely investigative duo to collaborate on solving multiple cases.

The production team said the second season will show more action and deliver a more realistic story.

In a press release, Choi said, "I hope viewers pay attention to how Seok-ok and her detective skills have changed." Kwon vowed to show a "more positive side of Wan-seung."

Lee Seong-min, the scriptwriter from the first season, will work on the second one as well while Choi Yoon-suk, the producer of popular series "Good Manager" aired earlier this year on the same network, will take up the new director's role.
