SEOUL, Jan. 5 (Yonhap) -- LG Electronics Inc. said Friday it will unveil its Ultra HD (UHD) beam projector, which boasts the industry's most advanced screen quality, at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) kicking off in the United States next week.

The South Korean consumer electronics tech giant said the 4K UHD projector, called HU80KA, will project images that are 25 percent brighter than previous products, with the diagonal screen size reaching 150 inches.

The product is also capable of playing content produced on the High Dynamic Range (HDR) 10 standard. Videos made under the standard can deliver vivid pictures by optimizing brightness.

It is also equipped with Web OS, an operating system for smart TVs, to pave the way for users to enjoy streaming services. Users are also able to adjust angles, allowing them to project screens at the ceiling.
