(G)I-DLE holds showcase for 'I am'

SEOUL, May 4 (Yonhap) -- (G)I-DLE has made a debut to succeed 4minute and CLC as a new girl group managed by Cube Entertainment.

The group held a media showcase for its debut album "I am" at the Blue Square in Hannam-dong, Seoul, on May 2.

Led by rapper Jeon Soyeon, a former contestant from the popular audition show "Produce 101" and the rap audition show "Unpretty Rapstar," the six-piece group consists of three Korean members -- Soyeon, Miyeon and Soojin -- and three foreign members -- Minnie of Thailand, Yuqi of China and Shuhua of Taiwan.

The EP album has a total of six tracks, including the title song "Latata" written and composed by Soyeon, "Maze," "$$$" and "Don't Text Me."
