N. K leader Kim stresses he is committed to denuclearization of Korean Peninsula

SEOUL, June 1 (Yonhap) -- North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has reaffirmed that he is committed to denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and hoped for a phased process to resolving the issue.
Kim made the remark in talks with visiting Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Pyongyang on Thursday, according to the Korean Central News Agency.
