SEOUL, July 2 (Yonhap) -- LG Electronics Inc. said Monday it participated in an exhibition in Seoul promoting drawings from the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) by utilizing the latest 88-inch Ultra Stretch signage solution.

The company said it installed the signage solution at the exhibition hosted by Kansong Art and Culture Foundation and the Seoul Design Foundation, which displays some 56 pieces of works by Jang Seung-eop and his students through end-November at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, located in central Seoul.

LG will showcase some 12 drawings through eight units of 88-inch Ultra Stretch signage screens with a 32:9 ratio, which will stand 2 meters high and 9 meters wide combined. It also installed Super UHD TVs at the venue.

The company said visitors are able to enjoy masterpieces from the Joseon Dynasty vividly through the latest display technologies.

LG has been applying the Ultra Stretch signage solution in various locations, including airports and subway stations.

The exhibition comes in line with the agreement signed between LG and the Cultural Heritage Administration to develop content that promotes the country's heritage.
