SEOUL, July 5 (Yonhap) -- LG Uplus Corp., South Korea's smallest mobile carrier, said Thursday it will start sales of Samsung Electronics Co.'s Galaxy J6 this week, offering top-notch features at a reasonable cost.

The mobile carrier said the Galaxy J6, priced at 330,000 won (US$295), will come with the most improved features among Samsung's J series, including the Infinity Display with minimized bezels.

Considering the price will be even lower with discounts, LG Uplus said the smartphone is expected to be popular among teenagers and seniors.

The 5.6-inch smartphone supports face and finger-print screening systems, along with a 13-megapixel camera.

LG Uplus said the Galaxy J6 was able to reduce costs by offloading less popular functions while maintaining premium-level features.
