SEOUL, July 17 (Yonhap) -- South Korean football club FC Seoul said Tuesday that they've signed Serbian striker Bojan Matic.

The K League 1 club said Matic signed a one-and-a-half year contract with them.

Matic, who is 191 centimeters tall, made his pro debut in 2008. He joined Serbian side Macva Savac in 2016 and helped his club earn promotion to the first division. This season, the 26-year-old netted 11 goals.

Seoul said Matic is a striker who can hold up the ball and play it out to teammates. The six-time league champions said Matic will join Brazilian attackers Evandro Paulista and Anderson Lopes to lead their attack.

Seoul are currently eighth in the 12-team league with four wins, eight draws and five losses.
