The delegation of 22 athletes and officials departed for Beijing at Gimhae International Airport in Busan, just east of Changwon. And from the Chinese capital, they will board a flight to Pyongyang.

So Gil-san, who snatched seven gold medals at the 1982 Asian Games, was the head of the delegation that landed in the South on Aug. 21. The shooters competed at the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia and traveled straight to Changwon without making a stop at home.

The two silver medals came from the men's and women's 10-meter running target team events. North Korea also won bronze in the men's 50m running target mixed event and the men's 10m running target mixed event.
