PYONGYANG/SEOUL, Sept. 18 (Joint Press Corps-Yonhap) -- The leaders of the two Koreas on Tuesday watched an art performance in Pyongyang together with their wives following the first day of their summit.

The Samjiyon Orchestra staged a concert at Pyongyang Grand Theater in front of South Korean President Moon Jae-in and first lady Kim Jung-sook. The North's leader Kim Jong-un and his wife Ri Sol-ju were present as well.

Kim arrived at the theater first and waited for the South Korean visitors.

Entering the 900-seat theater, Moon received a four-minute-long standing ovation from the North Koreans who filled it.

Images of the Korean peninsula were hung on the walls, and a backstage screen showed the unified women's ice hockey team playing at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics early this year.
