SEOUL, Nov. 30 (Yonhap) -- South Korean tech giant LG Electronics Inc.'s products were named among the best 4K monitors of 2018, a report released by Forbes and Rtings.com showed Friday.
According to the report, LG Electronics took up four of the top five best 4K monitors of 2018.
"It is a very good 4K monitor for most uses, with good overall picture quality, great motion handling and excellent low input lag," the post by Forbes and Rtings.com said about the 27-inch monitor, 27UK650.
The report said the 32-inch LG 32UD99 is recommended for those looking for a wider screen as well.
"The larger 32-inch screen is great with 4K content, delivering a sharp, clear image that is great for multitasking," the report said.
The evaluators recommended the LG 32UD59-B as the best 4K monitor for a dark room, and the LG 43UD79 as the top large 4K monitor.
The other monitor among the top five was Acer's Predator X27.
LG's B8 monitors, available in 55-inch and 65-inch, were also named one of the top gaming monitors of 2018.
"The LG OLED B8 is the best gaming TV that we've reviewed so far. The OLED panel delivers an extraordinary dark room experience and excellent picture quality. It has excellent low input lag, so you get a responsive gaming experience," Forbes and Rtings.com said.
"Unfortunately, OLEDs aren't without flaws, as they can experience temporary image retention or even permanent burn-in when displaying static content," they added.
