SEOUL, Dec. 3 (Yonhap) -- Defense industry affiliates of Hanwha Group will promote their artillery systems at a defense exhibition in Egypt this week, the company said Monday.
In the Egypt Defence Expo 2018 that runs from Monday through Wednesday, Hanwha Corp., Hanwha Systems, Hanwha Land Systems and Hanwha Defense Systems will aggressively market their coastal artillery systems, Hanwha in a statement.
Hanwha's products in its booth include the K9 Thunder self-propelled howitzer, a fire direction center vehicle, and K10 ammunition resupply vehicle, it said.
Through the exhibition, the chemicals-to-finance conglomerate aims to export the products to Africa and the Middle East.
Some 300 companies from 10 countries set up their booths to showcase their products at the first defense exhibition presided over by the Egyptian defense ministry, it said.
