Psy sets up entertainment agency
SEOUL, Jan. 24 (Yonhap) -- Renowned South Korean singer-rapper Psy said Thursday he has established an entertainment agency to share his 19 years of experience in the industry related.
Psy disclosed the launch of his agency via Instagram, saying, "I've set up a company. The name of the company is 'P Nation.'"
On the setup, Psy said, "I'd like to share my 19 years of experience as a singer, producer, manager and planner with other people... I'll try to make a playground for passionate professionals who are sweating to realize their dream."
The singer of the global megahit "Gangnam Style" left Seoul-based YG Entertainment in May last year, ending his eight-year contract with the label.
"P Nation will be led by a professional manager," Psy said, adding that its outline will be made public in the near future.
