SEOUL, Jan. 29 (Yonhap) -- The South Korean professional baseball league on Tuesday announced its nine-day preseason schedule.
The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) said the exhibition season will run from March 12-20, with each of the 10 clubs playing eight games apiece.
All games will start at 1 p.m. There will be no extra innings or double headers. Games that are canceled by rain or other inclement conditions will not be made up.
The regular season will have its earliest start ever, with Opening Day set for March 23.
It was in consideration of the Premier 12, which will be held in November as the first qualifying tournament for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
