SEOUL, Feb. 24 (Yonhap) -- Hyundai Motor Co.'s Tucson SUV earned the highest ratings in the evaluation of compact SUVs by German magazine Auto Bild, the company said Sunday.
The Tucson SUV beat the Mazda CX-5 premium compact crossover and the Renault Kadjar crossover in seven categories, such as the engine, driving capability, connectivity and price, Hyundai said in a statement.
The "all-rounder" tester was equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline turbo engine and a six-speed manual transmission, it said.
