SEOUL, March 14 (Yonhap) -- A subway train in northern Seoul derailed upright on Thursday, but no injuries were reported, rail officials said.
The derailment took place at 7:22 p.m. as the train on the subway Line 7 entered a tunnel leading to Dobongsan Station, Seoul Metro said.
Some 290 passengers were safely evacuated, with no injuries reported, they said.
Seoul Metro said the Line 7 trains running through Suraksan Station and Jangam Station were halted due to restoration efforts.
