S. Korea, Belgium to hold FM talks next week

SEOUL, March 21 (Yonhap) -- South Korea and Belgium plan to hold foreign ministerial talks next week on bilateral relations and regional security issues, Seoul's foreign ministry said Thursday.

Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders, who doubles as deputy prime minister, is scheduled to visit here, accompanying the country's king, Philippe.

Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha will have talks with Reynders on Tuesday, according to the ministry's spokesman, Kim In-chul.

They will discuss ways to deepen substantive cooperation between the two nations, he added.

Also, they will talk about partnerships on the Korean Peninsula involving security conditions, cybersecurity and development.
