SEOUL, April 9 (Yonhap) -- Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea's No. 1 automaker, on Tuesday released a rendering of the Venue sport utility vehicle ahead of its planned launch in global markets this year.
The Venue SUV will further strengthen the Korean carmaker's SUV lineup as it expects the entry model to absorb growing demand for recreational vehicles, a Hyundai Motor spokesman said.
The Venue will debut at this month's 2019 New York International Auto show, Hyundai said.
Hyundai's SUV lineup is currently composed of the flagship Palisade, Santa Fe compact, Tucson subcompact and Kona entry models.
