Amorepacific Q1 net down 45 pct. to 67 bln won
SEOUL, April 28 (Yonhap) -- Amorepacific Corp. on Tuesday reported its first-quarter net income of 67 billion won (US$ 54.6 million), down 45.2 percent from a year earlier.
The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 60.9 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 186.6 billion won a year ago. Sales fell 22.1 percent to 1.13 trillion won.
The operating profit was 13.6 percent lower than the average estimate, according to the survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency. The estimate of net profit was not available.
