BNK Financial Group Q1 net down 21 pct. to 149 bln won
SEOUL, April 28 (Yonhap) -- BNK Financial Group Inc. on Tuesday reported its first-quarter net income of 148.5 billion won (US$ 121.2 million), down 20.6 percent from a year earlier.
The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 206 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 247.8 billion won a year ago. Revenue rose 17.8 percent to 1.59 trillion won.
The operating profit was 3.8 percent higher than the average estimate, according to the survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency. The estimate of net profit was not available.
