A train travels around the Nakdong River.

Plum blossoms along the railroads boast their beauty.

The scent of spring fills the month of March.

Springtime picnickers walking through the plum blossoms are light of foot.

Visitors continuously snap pictures of the first plum blossoms this year.

<Gwon Young-ji / Jungbang-dong, Gyeongsan, North Gyeongsang Province> "Today is a warm spring day, and seeing plum flowers makes my heart brighter and happier."

<Jeon Jeong-suk / Buam-dong, Busan> "I was worried because it rained yesterday. However, the weather today is absolutely beautiful. I feel like the flowers are welcoming us with a big smile."

At the Maehwa Village in Wondong of Yangsan, the sparkly water of the Nakdong River, the railroads and the pink plum blossoms all come together to create a spring landscape.

Not only tourists but also honeybees are immersed in the scent of the plum flowers.

<Kim Sung-jin / Head of Wondong Village> "The Wondong plum blossoms are native to Korea and have a long history. Thanks to these flowers, the festival gets better every year, and more visitors come visit us."

At this village, the 10th Yangsan Wondong Plum Blossom Festival will be held on March 19 and 20, showcasing the superiority and beauty of plums native to Korea.
