Movie Proceeds Donated to Comfort Women Victims

Proceeds from the movie "Spirits' Homecoming" that was created based on the testimonies of victims of sexual slavery by the Japanese military during World War II will be donated to the comfort women victims.

According to House of Sharing in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, JO Entertainment Korea, the production company of the movie "Spirits' Homecoming," plans to donate 500 million won to the House of Sharing, a comfortable home for the victims, and the Foundation of Justice and Memory.

The production company revealed that "as the movie was created with help from people, the proceeds should be used for projects to protect the human rights of the victims," and that they plan to continue the donations by contributing an extra 500 million won.
