Bear at Elementary School in Broad Daylight Captured after 45 Mins

A bear that escaped from a bear farm in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province was caught after rampaging around a nearby elementary school for nearly an hour.

Yesterday (April 12) at around 11:40 a.m., a bear appeared at an elementary school in Daegot-myeon, Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province, where it started to run around in the field and playground.

There were no causalities, as the field was empty, but students and teachers were surprised at the sight of the bear on the school grounds seen through the classroom windows.

45 minutes after its appearance, the bear was taken by its owner with the support of the police and the 119 rescue team, being sedated by a tranquilizer gun.
