Armed public and private joint military personnel in gas masks scan the floor of the airport.

The anti-terrorism training conducted at Incheon International Airport Passenger Terminal 2, which is opening next week with the upcoming PyeongChang Winter Olympics, was simulated as real as possible.

It inspected the response system at different levels, such as the reporting system for suspicion of bioterror incidents and response of the first responders on the scene.

Incheon International Airport revealed that it has completed 115 test operations so far prior to officially operating the Passenger Terminal 2 on the 18th.

Over 20,000 passengers, along with nine aircrafts and 78,000 virtual luggage, were implemented to inspect whether the aircraft arrival and departure system, along with the passenger immigration system and luggage transport system, are operating correctly.

The first aircraft to arrive and leave Incheon International Airport Passenger Terminal 2 will be the Korean Air airliner traveling between Manila, the Philippines and Incheon in the morning of the 18th.

The airport corporation projected that approximately 57,000 passengers will use the new terminal on the opening day.

Guidelines were also prepared to prevent confusion among passengers having to use Terminal 2.

The electronic ticket displays the terminal information in red and text message sent by the airline and travel agency also includes the terminal information.

For passengers who still end up at the wrong terminal, there is a shuttle bus connecting the two terminals running every five minutes.
