This photo, provided by the defense ministry on Aug. 11, 2020, shows Pfc. Kim Hak-je, who was killed in a fierce battle near Jangjin Lake in North Korea's South Hamkyong Province in the winter of 1950 during the Korean War. His remains recently returned home via the United States under a Washington-Pyongyang project to excavate the remains of American soldiers who were killed in action in the North during the war.
