Shincheonji churchgoers donate blood

Members of the Shincheonji Church of Jesus take part in a blood drive in Daegu, 300 kilometers southeast of Seoul, on Aug. 27, 2020. The blood being donated will be used by researchers to develop plasma treatment drugs for the novel coronavirus. The church, an early epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak, said some 1,100 members donated blood. (Yonhap)
