KOSPI, KOSDAQ set new highs

An electronic signboard in the dealing room of KB Kookmin Bank in Seoul shows the benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) having soared 68.36 points, or 2.18 percent, to close at a new all-time high of 3,208.99 on Jan. 25, 2021. The tech-studded KOSDAQ also was close to surpassing the 1,000-point line for the first time in its history. (Yonhap)
