President Yoon Suk-yeol (L) ties a tassel to a sword of Army Gen. Park Jeong-hwan, the new Army chief of staff, during a ceremony at the presidential office in Seoul on May 27, 2022, to mark his inauguration. The traditional Korean sword Sam Jeong Geom, or the Three Spirits Sword, represents the three spirits of defending the country, unification and prosperity, as well as the Army, Navy and Air Force.
